Oman Infocus is an independent media and documentary production company based in Muscat, Oman, specializing in high-end documentary filmmaking, and visual storytelling projects that reveal the untold natural and cultural stories of the Sultanate and the wider Arabia to global audiences.
Maisa Al Hooti, an Omani entrepreneur, photographer, and conservation advocate, founded Oman In Focus in 2014 to showcase Oman’s landscapes, wildlife, and culture through world-class photography and documentary filmmaking. Driven by a passion for her homeland, Al Hooti specializes in underwater photography but spearheads projects with international experts to document Oman’s biodiversity, promoting conservation and global awareness. She is the first Omani to produce international-standard films promoting Oman’s environment and culture, disseminated globally via recognized organizations and social media. She continually seeks to diversify her work and explore environmental treasures within Oman and the wider region.
