Oman In Focus is currently in post-production on two ambitious natural history documentaries exploring some of the Sultanate’s most extraordinary landscapes and wildlife.
The Incredible Empty Quarter ventures deep into one of Arabia’s most iconic desert landscapes, while The Amazing Arabian Coastlands explores the remarkable wildlife and ecosystems shaped by Oman’s dramatic coastline.
Both productions are being developed for international audiences, continuing Oman In Focus’s commitment to bringing Oman’s exceptional natural stories to the world through cinematic documentary storytelling.

Maisa Al Hooti
Maisa Al Hooti is an Omani entrepreneur, documentary filmmaker and Executive Producer, and the Founder of Oman In Focus. Since establishing the company in 2014, she has led the development and production of ambitious documentary projects that bring Oman’s natural heritage, wildlife and cultural stories to international audiences.
Her work combines a distinctly Omani perspective with international production expertise, bringing together filmmakers, specialists and strategic partners to create documentaries with global reach. Through Oman In Focus, Maisa is committed to strengthening Oman’s presence in international documentary filmmaking and creating a lasting body of work that carries the Sultanate’s stories to the world.
Mike Slee
Mike loves memorable stories that bring humans and animals together in amazing places. His films have been BAFTA & OSCAR shortlisted, won Emmys and 3 Wildscreen Pandas. His feature ‘Flight of the Butterflies’ won a 7-category clean slate in the Giant Screen Cinema Awards and became a global phenomenon in 3D cinemas.
Anel Rademeyer
Anel is a international film and TV producer who is also recognized for her camera and drone work, in addition to her extensive production experience.
Her creative flair and strategic mindset makes her a valuable asset in all aspects of production. Anel has established herself as a specialized producer in the GCC region, actively participating in various documentary, feature film, and TV projects from all over the world.
